for a dance extravaganza during the Easter break. Sign up to a 3 day dance off and showcase with workshops in four modern dance movements. An opportunity to groove to Street dance/ Hip hop, step out to Tap, strut to Salsa and tread the boards in the bright lights of Theatre Craft –you choose!Daily workshops -afternoons and early evening

Intoduction DJ Workshop with Kwa Daniels

Border Youth Summer Camp

Starting on July 27th, the Alley Theatre, Strabane and the Balor Arts Centre, Ballybofey, invites 11 – 18yrs olds to participant within a fantastic five week summer theatre camp exploring music, drama and dance within two of the North West’s leading arts venues. Top theatre professionals will be offering expert guidance in encouraging personal development and artistic expression, with the final outcome of the summer camp resulting in a grand showcase finale.
Supported by the International Fund for Ireland, Border Youth Summer Camp will alternate between the Alley Theatre, Strabane and Balor Theatre, Ballybofey, Co Donegal, with final performance in both theatres. Transport between venues, lunch and refreshments will be arranged as part of the project.
Although no previous performance experience is necessary, auditions will be required. To audition for the programme visit the Alley Theatre on June 18th at 6.30 p.m. or the Balor Arts Centre on June 19th at 6.30 p.m. Upon a successful audition, the cost to take part in the 5 week programme is £20/20 Euro per week.

Digital Music Technology

Please note : This is a two day course, starting on Wed, July 1st and finshing on Thurs 2nd July Are you interested in music and would you like to learn how to use music software such as Garageband or Sony Acid to create original music compositions.
If so, why not join us to learn to use the software’s tools and assemble music loops into a completed piece. By the end of the course You will create your own tunes and burn them to CD.
